Tips for the Best Chicken Tortellini Soup:

  • Don’t overcook the tortellini: They cook quickly, so keep a close eye on them to prevent them from becoming mushy.
  • Use good quality chicken broth: This is the base of the soup, so choose a flavorful broth for the best results.
  • Fresh herbs are a bonus: While dried thyme and sage work wonderfully, adding a sprinkle of fresh parsley at the end elevates the flavor even further.

Variations to Try:

  • Add spinach or kale: Stir in a handful of greens during the last few minutes of cooking for added nutrients.
  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
  • Use different tortellini: Spinach and ricotta tortellini would also be delicious.
  • Add vegetables: Diced zucchini, mushrooms, or bell peppers would be great additions.
