Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I make this soup ahead of time?
A: Absolutely! Minestrone actually tastes even better the next day as the flavors meld together. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Q: Can I freeze this soup?
A: Yes, but the pasta may become a bit mushy upon thawing. It’s best to freeze the soup before adding the pasta, then cook the pasta separately when you’re ready to serve.

Q: What kind of pasta is best for minestrone?
A: Small shapes like ditalini, elbow macaroni, or small shells work well.

Q: Can I add meat to this soup?
A: Definitely! Chicken, ground turkey, or even Italian sausage would be delicious additions.

Q: Is this soup vegetarian/vegan?
A: This recipe is vegetarian. To make it vegan, ensure your vegetable broth is vegan-friendly and omit any parmesan rind.

We hope you enjoy this comforting and flavorful BWB Minestrone Soup! It’s a perfect dish to share with family and friends, or to savor all on your own.
