Ingredients
- 1 can diced tomatoes juice included
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth adjust for desired thickness
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- to taste salt

- In a pot or dutch oven over medium-low heat, melt butter and add chopped onions. Sauté until the onions start to turn translucent.
