  • 1 tbsp Bacon fat Reserved from cooking bacon
  • 1 cup Jalapeños Chopped
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Softened
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper
  • Optional Cilantro For garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon fat.
