We’ve taken all the best parts of an egg roll – the savory filling, the satisfying crunch (thanks to the wonton strips!), and that signature spicy kick – and transformed them into a nourishing and easy-to-make soup. This recipe is a fantastic way to sneak in extra vegetables and enjoy a flavorful meal that won’t leave you feeling sluggish.

What Makes This Soup So Good?

  • Healthy & Light: We use ground turkey instead of pork, and load up on fresh vegetables like cabbage, carrots, and onions.
  • Flavorful Broth: The combination of chicken broth, coconut aminos, and fish sauce creates a deeply savory and umami-rich base.
  • Spicy Kick: Sriracha allows you to customize the heat level to your liking.
  • Quick & Easy: Ready in under 30 minutes, making it perfect for busy weeknights.

Tips for the Best Soup:

  • Don’t skip the ginger! Ground ginger adds a warm, aromatic flavor that complements the other ingredients beautifully.
  • Adjust the spice: Start with a small amount of sriracha and add more to taste.
  • Get creative with toppings: Feel free to add other toppings like sesame seeds, a drizzle of sesame oil, or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
  • Make it vegetarian: Substitute the ground turkey with firm tofu or mushrooms.
