What makes this soup special?

  • Flavorful Sausage: We use turkey Italian sausage for a lighter take, but you can absolutely use pork or chicken sausage depending on your preference.
  • Cheesy Tortellini: The cheese-filled tortellini adds a delightful burst of flavor and texture to every bite.
  • Creamy Broth: The half and half creates a rich and creamy broth that will leave you wanting more.
  • Fresh Vegetables: The carrots, celery, and onion add a touch of sweetness and freshness to the soup.

Tips for the Best Soup:

  • Don’t overcook the tortellini: Tortellini can become mushy if overcooked, so be sure to follow the package directions and cook until al dente.
  • Adjust the seasonings to your liking: Feel free to add more or less Italian seasoning, pepper, or salt to suit your taste.
  • Add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese: A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top adds a delicious finishing touch.
  • Make it spicier: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
