What makes our Instant Pot Beef Pho special?
- Speed & Convenience: The Instant Pot drastically reduces the cooking time, making pho a realistic weeknight meal.
- Rich & Flavorful Broth: We focus on building layers of flavor with aromatic spices and a long simmer (even within the pressure cooking time!).
- Tender Beef: The Instant Pot ensures the beef is incredibly tender and flavorful.
- Customizable: Pho is all about personalization! Add your favorite toppings like bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and jalapeños to create your perfect bowl.
Tips for the Best Pho:
- Toast Your Spices: Gently toasting the spices before adding them to the broth enhances their aroma and flavor.
- Don’t Skip the Charring: Charring the onion and ginger adds a smoky depth to the broth.
- Thinly Slice the Beef: This is crucial for tenderness. Partially freezing the beef makes it much easier to slice thinly.
- Fresh Herbs are Key: Don’t skimp on the fresh herbs! They add brightness and vibrancy to the soup.
Serving Suggestions:
Pho is traditionally served with a side of hoisin sauce and sriracha, allowing each person to adjust the sweetness and spice level to their liking. A side of fresh Thai basil is also a wonderful addition.
