Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What type of lentils should I use?
A: Brown or green lentils work best in this recipe. Red lentils will cook down more and create a thicker, creamier soup.

Q: Can I make this soup in a slow cooker?
A: Yes! Sauté the vegetables as directed, then transfer everything to a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Q: Can I freeze lentil soup?
A: Absolutely! Let the soup cool completely, then transfer it to airtight containers and freeze for up to 3 months.

Q: What can I serve with lentil soup?
A: Crusty bread for dipping is always a good choice! You can also serve it with a side salad or a dollop of yogurt.

We hope you enjoy this comforting and nourishing Lentil Soup! It’s a perfect meal to share with family and friends.
