Tips for the Best Tomato Soup:

  • Tomato Quality: Use the ripest, most flavorful tomatoes you can find. Roma or San Marzano tomatoes are excellent choices.
  • Herb Power: Don’t be shy with the herbs! Fresh herbs are best, but dried herbs work well too. Adjust the amount to your preference.
  • Noodle Choice: While we recommend homemade noodles for the best texture, you can substitute with your favorite pasta shape if desired. Small pasta shapes like ditalini or orzo work well.
  • Blender Option: For a smoother soup, you can blend it with an immersion blender or in a regular blender after simmering. Be careful when blending hot liquids!
