There’s a secret weapon in the kitchen of every great cook: homemade stock. And when it comes to rich, flavorful stock, nothing beats Golden Turkey Stock. Forget those bland, store-bought cartons – this recipe will transform your soups, sauces, and stews into culinary masterpieces.
This isn’t just about making stock; it’s about extracting flavor. Roasting the turkey wings first deepens the taste, creating a beautiful golden color and a depth you simply can’t achieve any other way. The slow roasting and pressure cooking process gently coaxes out all the goodness from the bones and vegetables, resulting in a stock that’s both nourishing and incredibly delicious.

Tips for the Best Golden Turkey Stock:
- Roasting is Key: Don’t skip the roasting step! It’s what gives the stock its beautiful color and deep flavor.
- Don’t Overcrowd the Pan: When roasting, ensure the turkey wings are in a single layer for even browning.
- Low and Slow: The pressure cooking time allows for maximum flavor extraction. Resist the urge to rush it.
- Strain Thoroughly: A fine-mesh strainer will ensure a clear, clean stock.
- Storage: Let the stock cool completely before storing. It can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for several months.
