Serving Suggestions:

This Chicken Chili is fantastic on its own, but it’s even better with your favorite toppings! Here are a few ideas:

  • Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack)
  • Sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Diced avocado
  • Chopped cilantro
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • Tortilla chips or cornbread for dipping

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I use chicken breast instead of thighs?
A: While you can, chicken thighs will result in a more tender and flavorful chili. Chicken breast tends to dry out during simmering. If you do use breast, be sure to reduce the simmering time.

Q: Can I make this chili spicier?
A: Absolutely! Add a pinch of cayenne pepper, a dash of hot sauce, or use a spicier chili powder.

Q: Can I make this chili ahead of time?
A: Yes! Chili actually tastes better the next day as the flavors have time to meld. Store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Q: Can I freeze this chili?
A: Yes, you can! Let the chili cool completely before transferring it to a freezer-safe container. It will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Q: What kind of beans can I use?
A: We love using white beans in this recipe, but you can substitute with kidney beans, black beans, or pinto beans if you prefer.

We hope you enjoy this delicious and easy Chicken Chili recipe! Let us know in the comments what you think!
