  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 15 ounces chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups vegetable broth

  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
