  • 1 lb smoked sausage Cajun andouille, Polish Kielbasa, chicken or turkey sausage, ham, or ham hock
  • 2 14.5oz canned turnip greens or collard greens, mustard greens, spinach
  • 1 cup chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian version
  • 1 tsp salt optional, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper optional, to taste
