What Makes This Wonton Soup Special?

We’ve focused on creating a balanced flavor profile. The combination of sesame oil, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and soy sauce in the filling creates a depth of flavor that’s both savory and slightly sweet. The fresh Napa cabbage and green onions add a lovely crunch and freshness. And, of course, the homemade wontons are the star of the show!

Tips for Perfect Wonton Folding

Don’t be intimidated by the wonton folding process! It might seem tricky at first, but with a little practice, you’ll be folding like a pro. Here are a few tips:

  • Keep things moist: Moistening the edges of the wrappers is crucial for creating a good seal.
  • Don’t overfill: Overfilling the wontons will make them difficult to seal and they might burst during cooking.
  • Practice makes perfect: Don’t worry if your first few wontons aren’t perfect. The more you practice, the better they’ll look!
