Ingredients

  • 1 package Wonton Wraps
  • 4-5 leaves Napa Cabbage
  • 3 Green Onions
  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 8 cups Chicken Broth

Instructions

  • Finely chop green onions and Napa cabbage. Set aside.
  • Place ground pork in a medium mixing bowl. Add sesame oil, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, soy sauce, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add chopped green onions and Napa cabbage to the pork mixture. Mix again until combined.
  • Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Heat chicken broth in a separate pot.
  • To fold a wonton, place a wonton wrap in your palm. Place approximately 1 tbsp of filling in the center.
  • Moisten two edges of the wonton wrap with water. Fold the wonton diagonally, pressing the moistened edges together.
  • Moisten one corner with water and fold on top of the opposite corner.
  • Place finished wontons into the boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Wontons are done when they look shriveled against the filling.
  • Place cooked wontons in hot chicken broth and serve. Garnish with extra green onions if desired.
