Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery to the pot and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or up to an hour, to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve hot.
