Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 litres chicken stock I like to use homemade stock.
  • 3 pieces chicken breasts cut into bite sized chunks
  • 3 medium carrots sliced
  • 2 stalks celery sliced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1.5 cups egg noodles cooked
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring the chicken stock to a boil.
  • Add the chicken breasts, carrots, and celery to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.
  • Add the cooked egg noodles, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir to combine.
  • Heat through and serve.
