Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package chicken
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, combine chicken, broth, carrots, celery, and onion.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from pot and shred. Discard bones.
  • Return shredded chicken to pot. Add salt and pepper.
  • Add noodles and peas. Bring to a boil and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
  • Stir in milk and heat through. Serve warm.
