Instructions
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add crushed tomatoes, milk, salt, and pepper to the pot. Bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot.
