Instructions
Bring vegetable stock to a boil in a large pot.
Add cabbage, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and bay leaves.
If desired, add apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
Remove bay leaves before serving.
