Easy Crockpot Potato Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 30 oz frozen hash brown potatoes squared southern style
  • 2 14 oz cans chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a slow cooker combine the potatoes, broth, soup, onion and pepper.
  • Place the cover on your crockpot and cook the soup on low for five hours.
  • Next it is time to stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Cook this mixture 30 minutes while stirring occasionally until all is combined.
  • Before you serve the Potato Soup, you can garnish it with a little chopped green onion or even add more cheddar cheese for a “professional look.”
