Easy Pantry Vegetable Beef Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion onion or 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste optional

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add diced potatoes, diced tomatoes, onion (or onion powder), garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  • If using, add tomato paste.
  • Add enough water to cover the ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
