Instructions
In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine bone broth, carrots, celery, and onion.
Add turmeric, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, bay leaf, and salt.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 300 minutes (5 hours) to allow flavors to meld.
If using, add shredded chicken during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Remove bay leaf before serving.
