Instructions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to a jar.
