Immunity Boosting Chicken Soup for Kids

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken drumsticks
  • 1 onion
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 5-6 cloves cloves
  • 6-7 whole pepper corns
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large pot or pressure cooker.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • If using a pressure cooker, cook on high pressure for 10-12 minutes, then release pressure naturally.
  • Remove chicken and shred the meat. Return the shredded chicken to the soup.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
