Italian Sausage Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Diced onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup Ditalini pasta
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions
 

  • Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add the ditalini pasta to the pot and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
