Instructions
Brown the Italian sausage in a large pot or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the ditalini pasta to the pot and cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
