canned cannellini beans
rinsed and drained

kale

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
Add cannellini beans and kale. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until kale is tender.
Stir in red pepper flakes and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot.
