Loaded Baked Potato Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 5 medium Russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped bacon
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash.
  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk and heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
  • Serve hot, topped with sour cream and bacon.
