Instructions
In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
Add potatoes and carrots. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté onion until softened.
Add sautéed onion and chopped pickles to the pot with the broth and vegetables.
Season with sugar, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
Stir in sour cream before serving.
