black beans, rinsed and drained

corn, drained

Instructions
Heat avocado oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned.
Add onion and bell pepper to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in black beans and corn. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
