Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the pinto beans, green chiles, diced tomatoes, beef broth, cumin, and chili powder. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the flavors have melded.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, cheese, or avocado.
