Instructions
Rinse the beans and place them in the pressure cooker.
Add the water, ham hock, onion, carrots, celery, thyme, bay leaf, and pepper to the pressure cooker.
Close and lock the lid of the pressure cooker.
Cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.
Allow the pressure to release naturally.
Remove the ham hock and shred the meat. Discard the bone and skin.
Return the shredded ham to the soup. Stir and serve.
