such as kielbasa (I used Eckrich), sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

low-sodium fat-free chicken broth

I used Silk Soymilk
to taste

Instructions
In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Add smoked sausage and cook until lightly browned.
Add potatoes, chicken broth, rosemary, and thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Stir in kale and soy milk. Cook until kale is wilted, about 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
