plum tomatoes
sliced in half

garlic

sun-dried tomatoes

veg stock
or water

crushed plum tomatoes

chili powder

garam masala

Instructions
Roast the plum tomatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper at 400 F for about 30-40 minutes.
Sauté the onion and garlic in a pot until softened.
Add the roasted tomatoes, basil, sun-dried tomatoes, veg stock, chili powder, and garam masala to the pot.
Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
Blend the soup until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
