Taco Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1 can diced green chiles 4 oz
  • 1 can black beans 15 oz, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can kidney beans 15 oz, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can corn 15 oz, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add taco seasoning and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add diced tomatoes, diced green chiles, black beans, kidney beans, corn, chicken broth, cumin, and chili powder.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings, such as sour cream, cheese, and avocado.
